✂️ 3 Steps to Find Consistent Work
Do you have enough work?
It’s the question asked by every editor I have talked to. It’s the question I asked myself for years before I went freelance.
“How do I find work?”
If you’ve been a freelance editor for any period of time, you know the ups and downs and work. Sometimes you’re flooded, other times it feels like you’ll never work another day.
But that’s not really the worst part. The part that drains you is the anxiety, knowing each day takes you closer to your bank account running out, or that bill is approaching and you don’t know how you’ll pay it.
I’ve been fortunate to stay fully booked for the 3+ years I’ve freelanced. When I sat down to figure out why, I realized that every person we interact with falls into 3 groups.
You either:
Reach out to a new client
Check in with new connections
Catch up with past clients
That’s it! That’s everyone you ever talk with as a freelance editor.
Once you know that, you can ask, what does each group need? How can I be intentional when I interact with them? What do I say? How often should I connect?
On August 15, you can learn my system for each of these stages.
We will unpack Reach Out, Check In, and Catch up. We will define who you are as an editor so you can present yourself correctly to your ideal client.
Most importantly, you’ll learn how to do it in just 10 minutes a day.
We don’t all learn the same, so there are 3 options for you:
Video course: $17.50. I’ll walk you the whole system on screen and show you how to track everything.
Video + Audio + eBook: $25. Not all of us have time to sit down at a computer and watch a course. That’s why you can have access to the system in whatever medium fits you.
V/A/B + Private Community: $50. Each editor and their situation is unique. You’ll be able to ask questions and get specific feedback on how you can find consistent work. You’ll also be able to meet and learn from editors around the world. (So far we have Australia, Italy, and South Africa.) Note: this is not a monthly subscription. You’ll have unlimited access to the group for one set price.
If you pre-order before August 15, you will save 50%.
Anyone can find consistent work, anywhere in the world. This is how.
I hope to see you there!
